Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am requiring a logo for my new online jewellery store. I have called the business 'sea in me' as I find the sea hugely restorative and inspiring and compare the torrent of ability, flair and resilience that exists in all of us, to that of the sea's potency and lifeforce.

The double entendre explores the concept of self revelation, a window to the soul, a dare to reveal oneself and be honest in the face of adversity.

SEA IN ME is a range of simple and affordable jewellery that is both stylish and contemporary in feel. There are plenty of bold, colourful, cheery notes steadily running through the collection however there are also classic pieces of beautifully crafted silver to counterbalance them. Photographs for the site will incorporate old wooden furniture, painted drawers, rustic and stressed paintwork.

I am undecided as to whether the text is better with capitals ('Sea in Me') or to use all lower case (sea in me). I am open to the interpretation of this.

I may incorporate my own handwriting into the website and have included an example F.Y.I.

The final design should be simple, stylish and fresh.

Anforderungen

Schön zu haben

• I like the idea of capturing a 'breezy' feel. An open window with a moving curtain...I would like to include colours of the sea somewhere, but subtlety. Font could be an aquamarine, or even a combination of blues and greens. I am probably imagining a white background but am not definite about this.

Sollte nicht haben

• I would not want a dark coloured logo, no black, no sea shells or corny sea references.
