Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

- - - REVISED BRIEF IN BOLD – - -

A logo is required for a Perth based business called træ Furniture Design. I specialise in unique hardwood (predominately Jarrah) furniture pieces i.e tables, beds, cabinets and chopping boards. The wood that I source is recycled and rustic in nature. I then work with each piece of timber to embrace the grain/colour/imperfections to create a fine piece of furniture.

I would like to incorporate the æ symbol as træ means wood in Danish.

The feel for the logo that I'm after is rustic, yet professional. Happy for a creative approach with the design - all of my pieces are unique, I'd like that to be translated into the logo.

At this stage I haven't envisioned the use of colour. However, if you think a colour would enhance the design, I'd prefer pastel colours.

I'm looking to use this on a metal stamp to trademark my designs. Therefore I won't be able to have anything too intricate with the design.

- LIKE THE LOOK OF ræ BEING SLOTTED WITHIN A LARGER t (image attached)
- KEEN ON A SIMPLISTIC LOOK I.E SLIM LINES FOR IMAGE
- IF WE COULD SEE MORE CREATIVE APPROACHES WITH INCORPORATING A TREE INTO THE LOGO, THAT WOULD BE GOOD. FEEDBACK WE’VE RECEIVED IS THAT SEEING A TREE WILL SHED MORE LIGHT ON THE MEANING OF THE NAME. WE ARE FOND OF THE SIMPLISTIC STYLE TREES (IMAGES ATTACHED)
- WOULD ALSO LOVE TO SEE HOW YOU COULD INCORPORATE THE LETTERS T/T, F/F & D/D INTO A TREE. WE HAVE ATTACHED SOME QUICK SKETCHES OF WHAT WE MEAN BY THIS.
- ANOTHER OPTION IS TO STEER AWAY FROM THE ‘TREE LOOK’ AND INSTEAD HAVE A UNIQUE ANIMAL SYMBOL (PREFERABLY A FOX OR WOLF). WE HAVE ATTACHED IMAGES OF THE TYPE OF SLIM LINE IMAGES WE FOUND AND WERE FOND OF.
- ALSO ATTACHED A UNIQUE USE OF WOOD WITHIN AN ANIMAL (TATTOO) THAT WE LIKED. SOMETHING SIMILAR WOULD BE WELCOMED
- COULD USE WOOD GRAIN IN THE LETTERING
