Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new landscape construction company called 'Landspec'. We are based in Auckland New Zealand. The company is involved in the construction of both functional and aestheticly pleasing landscapes with a focus on landscape construction i.e excavation, retaining walls, decks, paving concreting etc For the logo design, I like the idea of somehow incorporating the softness of trees, leaves or foliage and the hardness of an excavator or digging equipment into the design to show the juxtaposition of the elements involved to create the finished landscape. For instance I have been playing with the idea of an excavator track with leaves forming the pattern on the track. The idea is so the customer can directly see that the company is involved in excavation and hard landscaping but still have a soft touch. I have no preference with colours. These are just initial ideas and I am open to any designs that are relevant to the business.
