Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung
Need a book cover to best represent my book, the long road to...
It is a book about overcoming life's obstacles both past and present, by exploring biblical truths and world religion philosophies. These aid the reader in recognizing, enacting and carrying out purpose. While unconventional all persons no matter their background can appreciate the aproach. Purpose throughout the book is depicted as a long road. The ... in the book title denotes a private journey by each individual, your road leads to different destiny than others, each reader has an individual experience, infinite possibilities, stories or jjourneys are all unfinished. This book offers no conclusion to your experience, you do. No one ending to life, no one ending to purpose. The end conclusion is based upon what you did on your journey.
For the design:
I envision a long road starting of as a dirt road with weeds and thorns then, rocks, then maybe bricks, a few missing here and there, then lead into a paved smooth road. I also see the landscape surrounding the road changing from dark and dreary and the further away the landscape goes it changes to brighter, lighter, happier, beautiful watercolor sun set sky. The road is wide and narrows as it nears the horison.
An upload is attached, I like the look and feel of that. I would like the design to look as real as possible.
Book is motivational/ spiritual

Muss haben
- The title on front cover, Top : The Long road to ...
- subtitle: Where does your road lead to?
- My name front cover bottom: Arnold L.Martin
- Synopsis on back cover
- Book title on spine
- synopsis:
- When I started my journey to find out my purpose for being on earth, for being born; I was lost. Like so many people I asked the question how I can find my purpose. The long road to … isn’t a self-help book or about my personal journey through life, and things that haphazardly influenced my success. It’s about choices, standards and principles that produce desired results; choices, standards and principles that are sometimes difficult choices to make.
- I discovered along my journey that the truth is, the long road to… reveals purpose as you travel along it. The long road is all that you will encounter in life, the good and the bad. Your perspective concerning those encounters determines whether your long road is headed to your purpose being fulfilled. Your perspective in life along with certain core principles will enable you to experience what so many people never do. My long road is headed to the final and most important affirmation to me; which is hearing God say “well done my good and faithful servant”. We all walk the road of life, but our perspectives along the way can cause us to meet undesirable ends. Your expectations for hopes, and dreams, and purpose do not have to go unmet. If you haven’t allowed hurts and disappointment to teach you, but destroy you, and hinder you that can change right now. Reader, where does your long road lead to?
- HOW DO I EXPERIENCE AND BENEFIT FROM A PURPOSE FILLED LIFE?
Schön zu haben
- some concept of travelling down a road, with decisions ahead of you. Don't want people or a person really depicted.
Sollte nicht haben
- don't really want a depiction of a person or people on the cover. Maybe the silhouette of a person, maybe, but no people preferably. I want the landscape or the scene to impart the concept to the reader
