Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for my small concreting company in Australia.
- I am a Maori Kiwi and love Maori designs, so I want that vibe to come through (see file for my mockup, and google examples)
- Colours: Turquoise, Dark Yellow and Black/Charcoal.
- I included a mockup to show my design idea. It is intended to look like 3x letter "J"'s (first letter of my and my sons names) swirling together to create a "koru" in the silhouette/blank space. (a koru is an integral part of maori art - google it.)
- I would like the badge aspect of the logo to be as similar to my uploaded drawing as possible, but feel free to add your creativity to make it work better.
- I want logo to include the badge and alongside it - text that says "Triple J Concreting"
- I prefer the full logo to be wide rather than high, as it will be mostly used on stationary, business cards and printed along the side tray of my black work UTE.
- I want to the font to be a current/modern style - no 'dated' fonts please.
- Finally I want the design to be catchy, easy to read (not too busy) and modern.
