Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

About the Breast Cancer School for Patients:
We are creating an free, online patient education website to specifically teach women diagnosed with breast cancer the essential information and questions they need to ask their doctors to get the best, cutting edge cancer care.

This information will primarily be based upon short (2-3 minute), video courses on the complex topics patients need to know about to engage their own doctor in their community. There will be written content and questions to accompany each of the initial 50 videos. Currently, the medical field does not "teach" patients what they should know.

Traffic to our innovative model will be promoted via social media firm on Facebook and YouTube and by email newsletters. The logo must work with industry standards for these formats.

Target Audience:
Women between ages 30 and 65.
The largest part of our target audience are women without cancer and the friends and families of women affected by cancer.

Design Goal for or Logo:
We want a blend of "professional/university-like" and "Feminine friendly" appearance. We want to stay away from the traditional pink colors and pink ribbons.

The logo will be primarily the very long name, "Breast Cancer School for Patients." A small icon to the left of the name is preferable. Could be a university-like crest or something you think is attractive. No pink ribbons for now is our thinking.

Technical Layout priorities:

Orientation:
Primarily horizontal. It needs to sit at the top of our website and for social media.

Animation ready:
We will later create a quick animation to use on our videos.

Technical Requirements:
Preferred in Adobe Illustrator or "Sketch" formats

Preferred font of Title name in a web available format.
