Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'm writing books for children that will be read on the iPad, iPhone, and other digital reading devices. My goal is for children from all kinds of backgrounds and situations to be able to relate to stories they read and images they see.

This story is called Sweeter When Shared. It is meant to teach children the value of sharing. In the story, two children go to an ice cream shop and order a big ice cream sundae to share. The problem is, there is only one cherry left at the shop, and two kids who want the cherry. The main character experiences a dilemma of wanting the cherry, but also wanting to be nice to a friend. In the end, the child gives the cherry to the friend, and experiences that there is joy in sharing.

I want fun, vibrant, colorful, bright illustrations to bring this story to life. It is especially important that the illustrations show a variety of kids - black, white, South Asian, East Asian, Mexican, and so forth - so that any child can look at the pictures and feel represented.

It is also important that the illustrations look clear on a device as small as an iPhone, and look vibrant on an iPad.

In total, I need 7 illustrations.

1. Front cover and back cover pages:
