We do on day only pop up shops with the top master printmakers in South Africa. Its a fun day our for the whole family but with the focus on buying affordable limited edition lithographs from some of the country's most respected artists. There are food trucks and music and supervised art activities for the kids.
The Artists' Press Limited Edition Print Pop Up Shop offers Gauteng-based buyers the opportunity to purchase from the widest selection of prints on sale outside the studio’s White River, Mpumulanga premises. The Artists' Press is highly regarded for its work with both local and international artists who are invited to collaborate in the studio with Master Printer Mark Attwood.

With a particular focus on lithographs , monoprints and letterpress, the full range of The Artists’ Press printmaking techniques will be on display at the Pop Up Shop through the work of more than 30 artists including Anton Kannemeyer, Diane Victor, Sam Nhlengethwa, Willem Boshoff , Walter Oltmann, Johann Louw and Colbert Mashile. There will also be brand new prints from from Claudette Schreuders, Conrad Botes, Karin Daymond, Judith Mason and Hanneke Benadé. Prices range between R2 500 and R12 500

With plentiful parking, live music by The Runaway Train Cult and a small array of bespoke food trucks and beverages on site for the event, this short-term shop packed with long-term goods is not to be missed for both new buyers and those wanting to add to their collections.

Parents will be happy to know that once again there will be a supervised mono print activity for children of all ages on site. Under the guidance of printmakers from The Artist Proof Studio, children can try their hand at printmaking and take home what they make. The children’s printmaking at The Artists' Press Limited Edition Print Pop Up Shop is free.
