Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need an updated, professional version of our current logo (with a few modifications) for a new website, new business cards and possibly for signage (banners, the bus, etc). We would prefer a vector format (.AI) file.

As a bit of background to the society, here's the mission statement:

"To provide cultural appropriate support, advocacy, information and care to the frail aged and the younger disabled Hungarian population."

The society is run by retired Hungarian expat volunteers to help other expats who are elderly or disabled, in any way that they can. They also provide the opportunity for social outings in their bus to various locations around the city.

I have attached two examples of the current logo. One is a painting that was made for the society, which provided the blueprint for the other, which is a very basic version that is used on the letterhead.

Firstly, the modifications to the basic components:

- We feel that the hands are unnecessary and would like the centre of the lifebuoy to be empty
- We would like to keep the flags that are included in the Letterhead version, however we would like the actual Australian flag, rather than just the colours

The main focus of this logo will be the lifebuoy. We would like it to look 3D, with subtle lighting and shadow effects.

The text on the lifebuoy should remain in the same position. The font should be public domain, with the details provided along with the final deliverables.

The Hungarian and Australian flags should appear to be wrapped around the lifebuoy in a similar fashion to the Letterhead version while maintaining the 3D effect of the lifebuoy.

The flags should be oriented so that the top of the flag lines the inside of the buoy and the bottom lines the outside (unlike the Letterhead version).

Our target audience is elderly Hungarians (typically 70+ years old) now living in Australia.
