Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Dear all,
we are a company-sponsored startup team in Switzerland and we are going to launch our first intelligent lighting solution in 2014. It's name: comfy.
We still need an apt logo design of high recognition value - It would be great having your ideas and design experience coming into play!
The product in a nutshell:
A connective LED bulb, which is easy to install for everybody (plug&play). It has two core features: 1. Automatic light (= comfort ) 2. Security (detects presence and pretends presence during absence). The light's settings are changeable for users via app / smartphone (similar to philip's hue or LifX)
Styleguide:
- In the first place the logo design should communicate "ease of use", "lightness", and "makes you feel comfy".
- Best practice styles to our view: e.g. "nest", "moovel, "canary" - but of course not limited to.
- We do not much like 3D effects.
- We like reduced, "icon-like" designs

Reason: Dear all,
thank you for the submissions, which we have received from your side. We like many of the results and though hope for the "moment of epiphany". That's why we slightly extend the timeline. Please feel invited to submit new designs.
Our learnings from the first round: the logo ideally...
- is not too literal (no bulb in the design)
- appears pure: i.e. no 3 D effects, careful choice of colour
- strictly conveys style, valuability, elegance (e.g. like http://nest.com) while still appearing playful.
We much hope, you will (further) help us finding the right appearance for our smart light for cosy & secure homes.
