Guys, thank you for your designs so far. We are getting a lot of creativity from you which we really appreciate.

As you work on this project, please have in mind that this is both a community and a resource provider. So, as a community it should look fresh and modern. Avoid designs that look too formal, or sober.

As a community, we want to be seen as more friendly and appealing to younger people (people in their late 20s and 30's for example).

Finally, some of you have been submitting multiple designs with an icon associated with a door Key. We're ok if you want to include a key in the icon, but make sure it doesn't look too old fashion. If you do it try to do it in a way that looks modern. It doesnt have to look like a key to dracula's castle.

And finally, dont forget that the word "key" may be also associated with other means of keys and access, for example like passwords, barcodes, QR codes, etc..

Anyways, we are happy with the creativity that you are showing and how you all are being receptive and quick to implement feedback.

I will try to keep providing feedback at multiple times throughout the day.

Hi gang. Thanks for keeping the juice flowing and improving your designs. We are still receiving great designs and we try to provide relevant feedback to each of you.

To make the process a cleaner one, we will be re-rating and eliminating some designs just to focus on the designs that we believe have the most potential.

Please don't feel bad if one of your designs gets eliminated from the competition or derated. We are doing that so that we can focus on the ones with the most chances.

If one of your designs gets eliminated, just focus your efforts on a new concept or improving the ones that remain in the competition.

We still have more than 2 days so let's keep this one. We can't wait to see what you guys are coming up next.

I think sometime a designer win the contest because his/her rank is higher... Or should i say sometime a designer and his/her rank win not the design.
Hope i am not right.....

It might happen but it was not this case. We brainstormed for hours and had two final designs and switched back and forward between them. At one point we thought we preferred one and then we changed to the other.

Then we selected on this one. Unfortunately none of your designs made it to the finals, so i'm not sure why you have the critique.

On the other hand, having a ranked designer is best because you know that if you need changes or an additional item (social banners, etc) they will be able to deliver a good job. Sometimes you select a logo designer because submitted a good design, but that designer is not experienced then ruins the rest of the work. Then all your investment in the project gets hurt.

Put yourself in the shows of the investor: After putting a lot of money on a project, would you put your brand on the hands of someone that doesnt have experience?

Again, this was not this case but i'm trying to explain why it happens, since i have done it before.

My recommendation is that you focus on doing a good work and forget the rest.

First of all really thanks for your reply.
It is not about me.
But some designer are not at a good rank because they joined DesignCrowd late. Sometime ranking higher is a benefit to join DesignCrowd soon.
In my case when I joined DesignCrowd there was already more than 4 lacks designers.
So it is my skills, experience and work quality that I am in top 3 K designers.
Any way I am no body to critics any design. I can understand you received lots of designs. And according to you, you choose your best.
I am really sorry for my first comment. And I am happy to see that still you are so much active with this contest.
