Flyer-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The 2016 World Masters are in Joburg starting 09/23. I will be attending in order to promote our hosting of the 2018 tournament. Each competitor in Joburg will receive a welcome bag - and we will be putting this flyer into every competitors bag. The idea is to get them excited about our event in Charlottesville. Included in the uploads is the wording so far - but this is a work in progress and there will be some adjustments - though proceed based on 1000-1200 words split into 5 sections. The flyer needs to incorporate the event logo (attached) and 6-7 pictures (samples attached but these may change).

The brochure should highlight the following.
1) Our world class facilities.
2) We are a self contained village. We have everything on site - from hotel, to courts, to restaurants, golf course, spa, to event opening and closing ceremonies. BH will be turned into a kind of Olympics Village for the 7 days. A player needn't leave BH the entire week if they didn't want to!
3) Of course they will want to and we should be highlighting the things to do locally - particularly the history (Monticello). beauty (Shenedoah / Skyline Drive) and wineries/breweries.
4) If coming from the other side of the world it makes sense to see DC while her - so this brochure should plant that seed in their head.

Squash Players Competitors in the 2016 tournament. After reading the brochure they should be excited about competing in the USA in 2018! And these are older squash players - with the average age around 50.

• Tournament Logo (attached)
• 6-7 Pictures (many possibilities attached)
• Boars Head logo (attached)
• Room for approx. 1000 -1200 words (provisional wording attached)
• Though I am in the USA the brochure will be printed in South Africa so it should be formatted to A4 paper size

Schön zu haben

• my thoughts were to incorporate the same colors as the offical tournament log.

Sollte nicht haben

• type face that is too small or a color scheme that makes it difficult to read - a lot of older eyes will be reading this brochure.
