Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a re-launch of a company that designs and sells high-performance helmet/bike lighting for mountain bikers who ride trails at night or early in the morning. We want to appeal the competitive endurance racer who participates in 24-hour and endurance racing as well as the hobbyist who rides before or after work.

The light we are about to launch will be far and above the brightest helmet/bike light on the market and is revolutionary and years ahead of it's time in design. The unanimous reaction we have gotten from the few who have seen and ridden with the proto-type is, "Holy SHIT! That is f*$@ awesome!"

The demographic of the average mountain biker is similar to other adventure sports...independent, alternative, counter-culture, edgy...more specifically, men aged 24-60 with lots of disposable income. We want to project the idea of riding without limits, speed, winning.

Because the company is all about producing massive amounts of light in the dark, we like the idea of black and white, the contrast of the pitch black trail being illuminated as if it were daytime. However, we are open to color.

We want the logo to not only include the name, but also include a stand alone image or emblem (ex. Nike swoosh) that would be recognizable on it's own.
