Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Summary
We require a brand logo for the launch of a new ecommerce website called golfgifts.co.uk
Golfgifts.co.uk will target male and female golfers and friends and family of golfers with a range of exclusive golfing gifts and gift boxes. It will not be selling golf clubs or trolleys, but rather golfing accessories like towels, scorecard holders, etc. Gift prices will range from £5.00 to £50.
We are designing a site and require a banner logo for the site header.

We require the design to incorporate the following:

• The title of the site – golfgifts.co.uk
• Our strap line: ‘Shop like a pro’

Design wise, here are some pointers

• The two ‘Gs’ in golfgifts.co.uk lend themselves to a creative design
• The logo should have a golf theme, but a subtle one. We want the logo to convey tradition, quality, exclusivity and trust.
• Avoid very obvious, clichéd golf imagery

We want a distinct typestyle for the word 'golfgifts' and also for the tag line 'Shop like a pro.' We could then use this logo on our stationery but also combine it with a gift-related photo (wrapped present?) to form the website masthead.

• The logo should have a golf theme, but a subtle one. It is equally important to convey the message of buying a quality gift for someone.

• Colours should also be subtle, but a green hue could be used to reflect ‘golf’

We have attached a cruedely designed idea. Please do not simply replicate this, but please note the emphasis on 'gift' and quality.
