Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We are in the process of opening a new bar and restaurant in a medium sized rural town in Australia.
We will be focused on Mediteranian food (think Spanish, Italian, Greek tapas/ mezze style meals).
The main selling point of our restaurant is the beautiful courtyard which allows guests to eat outside away from traffic but still in the centre of town.
Our target market will be individuals aged 25 - 50 years.
The new name for our restaurant is LaVida (One word with a capital V in the middle of it)
Our tag line is "Eat Drink Laugh".
We would like warm colours, reds, burgundy etc
I have attached a file of an idea which I had when we first started discussing the name. The name back then was slightly different which is why the spelling is not the same. Although I'm not 100% sold on this idea (in my opinion the design is a little unbalanced)I think with a little work and a few new ideas we should be able to come up with a logo that's great.

Hi all
I'd like to add additional information regarding the design.
Please make the name "LaVida" to be part of the logo design rather than an emblem and the name LaVida next to it.
LaVida means "The Life" so I would like the word to have some energy about it (flowing but not fussy font would be great)

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: A few designers have lodged logos which I would like to provide feedback on. Extending the deadline will give these individuals time to rethink and also provide them with time to revisit their design if needed.

The colour of this image is in the family of colours we want and a flora image (whether it is a tree or a flower) should be incorporated into the design as the courtyard is a key selling point for us.
Signage at the front of the shop will be in the style of the European High Street (see: http://www.europeword.com/blog/europe/european-high-streets/) for an image of how I imagine our sign will be presented.
