Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo and product name designed for our environmentally friendly ice melt products specifically made for preventing ice dam build up on roofs.

We have 3 products in a kit. Each product has a specific duty in prevention of ice dams.

Product 1: is a fabric tube or sleeve that is 2 feet long, and approximately 2 inches in diameter. It is filled with granular, non-corrosive, environmentally safe ice melt pellets. This sleeve is placed on the roof at locations where ice dams form, and keeps ice dams from forming in such a way that water leaks inside the building and creates inside damage. It is meant for long term prevention, using a slow release ice melt.

Product 2: is a granular ice melt product in pellet form. This is used on the roof when ice dams have already formed, and the customer needs to melt a channel through the ice. It takes a little while to melt using the solid granular ice melt. If there is a need for very quick melting, then our next product is used.

Product 3: is a liquid form of ice melter, that work very fast at melting ice when there is an emergency type of situation where the ice dam is already built up on the roof, and melting water is trapped and leaking inside the home or building. The liquid is poured slowly at a strategic spot on the ice so that it will let the water flow naturally off of the roof, rather than backing up under the shingles, and going inside the building.

We tend to say that Product 1, is a "slow release" melter, Product 2, is "medium release", Product 3 is "Fast release"

The products come as a kit with all 3 products.
And then customers can purchase "Refills" or replacement products individually when they need them.

Our main competitor sells a product called "Roof Melt" by KMI.
Their product is just a chloride "puck" form of ice melt that is thrown on the roof. It is not environmentally friendly, and a lot of customers have said it doesn't work very well.


We are looking for a redesigned name for our kit, as well as an eye-catching, shelf and web ready logo design.
