Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hello All,
Palmerston Pest Control is a new business to run in conjunction with our existing business Northern Rock Pest Control. We are after a new logo for the new business 'PALMERSTON PEST CONTROL'. The message we want the logo to portray is that we are the 'bad boys of pest control'.
We a Northern Territory, Australia based business and if you are looking at this design brief and are not familiar with location the perception people have of the Northern Territory is the movie Crocodile Dundee.
We know roughly what we want. We are after a skull & cross bone design (jolly roger). We want the design to be white on a black background and instead of a human skull we want a rats skull. (tattered half chew ears still attached, broken teeth, more horrible the better).
The design must be bold not wishy washy (no thin bones). Solid would be the word to describe.
I have attached a picture of a human skull and bone design. We like all the layout and style of this it just needs the rats skull not the human skull. The wording with we will enter into the question below we are not 100% which way it will look best. Please find mix. We have suggest the way we think it may look best.
