Verpackungs-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a label for a new product in our range. We have a chilli farm located on the Swedish island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. We produce a range of hand crafted premium products, all containing chilli, including chutneys and chilli sauces (pictures attached), which are currently sold both through supermarkets and through other channels like farm shops and markets. This new chilli sauce is intended to sell in larger volumes, mainly through supermarkets. Chilli sauce is a small but growing market in Sweden and we want to be seen as the first large scale producer of authentic, high quality Swedish chilli sauce. We use no preservatives or other additives in our products. Our website is www.chiligotland.se, currently only available in Swedish but gives you an overview of what we do.

We would like to target a broad section of the market, basically anyone who is considering to buy a chilli sauce, and convince them that it is better to buy our high quality Swedish sauce than to buy a mass produced imported alternative.

Muss haben

• The name of the new product is "Gotländsk Chilisås" or "Gotländsk Chili Sås". We need a label for the chosen bottle which is a plastic, squeezable bottle with a flip top. The bottle is triangular/conical in shape, 250 ml with the measurements 75 mm wide by 131 mm high (see picture of the type of bottle). The label should follow the shape of the bottle and must incorporate our logo as well as a small Swedish flag. The label measurements are approximately 9.5 cm tall, 6.0 cm wide at base and 3 cm wide at the top. We also need to fit a bar code as well as a list of ingredients and a nutritional values table on the bottle, so the best thing to do is probably to have a front and a back label. The style of the label does not need to be similar to our existing range as we see this as a completely new product category, but we have uploaded some pictures of our other products to give you an idea of what we are about. We are firmly staying away from the more stereotypical chilli image (flames, skull & crossbones) as we would like to portray our brand as something a little more sophisticated.

Schön zu haben

• If possible to fit in it would be great to add a small amount of text about us and our farm, to make it a little more personal. All the text will need to be in Swedish, so we will work on the wording depending on the available space. It would also be possible to add a portrait picture of us and maybe our signatures underneath.
• We would like to get across that we actually grow the chillies ourselves and that the product comes from a real chilli farm.
