Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a new company based in Venice Beach, CA called TIMEPIECE PRODUCTIONS. We produce short-form content such as behind-the-scenes specials for film studios as well as legacy videos for high-paying clients - bringing the Hollywood treatment to simple everyday stories.

Being from Oklahoma, the scissor tail flycatcher is important to me, as is the concept of 'time being frozen' by the pieces we create. I see a steampunk-type stopwatch with a scissortail flycatcher breaking out of it - Its tail forming the minute and second hand on the watch as it does so.

Colors I like are: blue, white, black, yellow, green, earth tones.

The design needs to be simple, should evoke nostalgia and freedom. I'm thinking 'steampunk' for some reason too. 'Timepiece Productions' should be a part of the logo - either on the clock, or creatively incorporated in a way that would look clean on invoices and letterhead.

This is how I've been daydreaming this concept... not completely tied to that if there's something cool I haven't thought of. But this is a great direction to start from. I have attached a truly horrible sketch that I made.
