Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Create a logo for a Japanese search site called www.bignavi.jp.
In Japanese, 'navi' means navigation, so directly translated it means 'Big Navigation'. The word 'Navi' is used a lot in Japan for search related sites.

The main content on the site will be displayed on a white background. The main logo will be in the middle with white space around it.

We require you to send the logo in two sizes with the following background colours:

1. Home page logo, size: 300x100, white background

2. Results page logo, size: 120x45, grey background
- The small logo should be created as a transparency

The site will be in Japanese for Japanese users.
The site will initially focus on searches for jobs, apartments and cars.
Ideally, we would like the logo to be memorable enough so the user has some emotional connection with it, but should not stand out so much it distracts the user from the content of the site.

The logo can be a stand-alone logo or you can create a 'tag line' which is incorporated with the logo (e.g. your fastest link to Japan). Just be sure that the tagline is editable so the logo can be used without the tag line if we decide not to use it.



The colours used on the site will be default colours.
Text colour will be black, with blue links.

Attached is a sample of what the site may look like (you can ignore the existing logo).

The demographics of the site will most likely be 60% women, 40% men. Many of them will be just out of university or professionals that are looking to change their career later in life.

The Coco Cola and Nike logos are samples of the type of logo designs we like.
