Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for an Android application. The application, Rawpal Gallery, is already available in the PlayStore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rawpal.gallery&hl=en). We are about to launch a new, fully renewed version and we need a new/more appealing logo design.

Your best pal when shooting RAW pictures with your DSLR camera!!! Rawpal is the perfect application to import and view DSLR Raw pictures.

Rawpal targets photographers, professional & amateur, that love photography and that use DSLR cameras and shoot in Raw format. It's a very simple application and, at the same time, very useful for photographers (the raw format it's not supported by default photo galleries apps).

We don't want to evolve the existing icon. We wan't something different and elegant.
The desgin should communicate passion for photography and, please, avoid the use of cameras & pictures frames as much as possible. There is right now a lot of applications to manage pictures and all the icons & logos looks the same and I would like to have something different.
