Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design to use for our university societies. We set up societies at various universities in the UK that are aimed at provoking discussion of life extension (regenerative medicine, cryonics, prosthetics, etc). The societies focus on both the scientific and the ethical questions. For example, "Should we pursue life extension?", "What would the society be like without ageing?" or "What is the mitochondrial theory of ageing?". The societies also try to find ways to make a world with no ageing sustainable by modelling the effects of different governmental policies.
The logo should imply that we are dealing with life extension, but at the same time it should give a feel that we use scientific methods and that we also discuss the ethics.
The logo will be used by our societies in all their meetings, conferences and marketing. It will be incorporated into our banners, leaflets, facebook groups and pages, websites, etc.
