Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a Soft Materials Research Lab at a University called the 'Soft Materials and Structures Lab'. Our research focuses on creating soft materials with unconventional properties (often inspired by nature), including ‘smart’ adhesives, deformable electronics and robotics, and materials that adapt their shape or properties to their environment. I would like to see designs that are exciting and technically oriented. The final design should communicate that we work on soft or deformable materials and structures while getting people's attention.

• It would be interesting to see if the logo could look deformable or perhaps even sticky (like an adhesive material). Also, elements that show action could be interesting to emphasize that we work in materials than adapt their structure or properties.
• Regarding color scheme, I am equally interested in gray scale or blue/green designs.
