Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a new logo design for a new product our company is developing. The product is an event platform called "Presence", and the domain under which it is going to exist is "presence.social".
The application is going to be both web and native mobile (Android and iOS applications - so keep in mind that the logo must be used for the square app icon as well, so it should not lose its identity if only a part of it has to resign within the app icon - think the G from Google, the F from Facebook, or the camera icon from the Instagram logo - in all those well known cases, the identity if maintained between the landscape logo and the square one).
We have no preference for colors at this point.
Please keep in mind that the final design should inspire communication and active implication in whatever is happening at that respective event. And also should make people trust each other, since they will use the app to interact with total strangers - think Airbnb and their famous TED Talk about designing for trust.
Also, it can not be too childish or funny, nor too business like. The application is going to be used at business events and conferences, as well as at sport events such as football matches. So some clean logo, balancing the two extreme cases, is what we are seeking.

Just a quick note: try not to make the letter "P" look like a "?" (question mark). It doesn't inspire confidence at all.

- The logo can have the text "presence", can be an abstract symbol, or even both.
- We would really appreciate if you can provide a logo that can be easily used in both landscape (website, banners at events, etc.) and square format (app icon), without losing its identity.
- Not writing anything in the "Must Haves" and "Should Not Haves" since we do not have a clear vision in mind. So please feel free to let your creativity run wild, as long as you comply with the minimal conditions described in the "Project Description section above.
