Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a logo for a millworks company that does high quality custom wood work (kitchen cabinets, trim, doors, tables, built-ins, etc.) It's a company with high quality craftsmanship when it comes to woodwork. The company name is Plum Grove Millworks. We'd like it to NOT have a saw or any tools like many millworks companies use. We want something involving wood or a tree. Possibly something that can uniquely show the transformation of something going from wood to a finished product (cabinets, trim, etc). Accomplishing that by either transformation of a word (the company name) or unique logo would be great. The words that come to mind when someone would see this logo would be: rustic, sophisticated, modern, polished, and clean. The color palette options should be darker and lighter greens, light gray, light tan/brown etc. We like this color palette but are open to other things. We'd like the color palette to be no more than 3 colors. As you'll see in the logo text, Plum Grove Millworks should be the main logo, and "Custom Cabinetry & Architectural Woodwork" should be a secondary element like a tagline.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: There are several "leading designs" that I would consider top 10. It seems as more revisions and time has passed, designs are getting better in terms of how designers are executing on the original project brief (doing what was asked). The main concept here is that we are a cabinet/woodworking company. When people look at our logo they should understand that; and in some cases without the text being present. Secondly, the designs are getting better in terms of "transition" from a tree or wood to a finished product we would produce. Simply having a tree means nothing. Therefore we felt it appropriate to extend our deadline to see what creative elements could be made with a focus on a logo (artwork) that tells the story of lumber being crafted into a finished cabinet/product. There have been a few submissions even today that are exceptional. Some that show a finished product in the shape of a tree and others that take a tree/lumber and transform to a finished product. We felt it best to extend the deadlines. We will be making our final decision on Tuesday November 15th.
