Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo re-designed for our company. I like the current concept, but need it modernized. We are a company that will be providing a SAAS product to the healthcare staffing industry. Collecting documents and applying those documents/parameters against compliance rules for hospitals/staffing agencies. The initial logo has a "person" holding a document as the A. I like the design, but am open to other concepts. Overall, would like a modern design, horizontal in nature (like the attachment). Would like some sort of icon that we can use separate from the words. Overall the theme for the software is creating efficiency and ease of access to information that is now hard to manage. I have also uploaded another concept that I find interesting. There are 3 groups involved int he process and this logo as 3 circles that are intermingled that have different colors.
