Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for use in marketing a new residential subdivision. In researching the history of the existing land we discovered is was originally a mild dairy called North Edge. See the attached image showing their original logo. While interesting, it is a little boring and doesn't capture our needs for the residential subdivision. Also, we aren't necessarily needing to continue the idea of a dairy...
It should be noted the subdivision is small, only 6 parcels. And each of these parcels share an open "commons" area.

The project is located in a active, growing mountain west ski town community with a vibrant downtown. Our subdivision will be near downtown, but also exists at the edge...maybe a convenient coincidence with its original name of North Edge? We are hoping to market the idea that we appeal to living near downtown, which is appealing to buyers.

So, the logo/brand is intended for use as a Real Estate marketing tool.
