Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for my new solo experimental indie rock project called 'the suburb' (yes, I'm an individual with a band name).
I'll be recording and filming a song every week for one year and uploading it as a videosong to Youtube every Friday in my ONE YEAR ONE SONG A WEEK challenge, starting the 1st of november. I would like to be present in every social media, websit, blog, press kit, album or single I run or release.
I'd like the logo design to express 21st century-downtoearth happiness and hopeness, no fear to follow oneself's path and humanity (you feel close and familiar to it)...see what my hometown Barcelona communicates: mediterranean and trendy/up-to-date vibe.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• The logo design is meant to be used in every piece of merchandise, every blog, mail etc done by 'the suburb', that means it has to be readable in a lot of different surfaces and backgrounds (pictures, black or white sheets, etc) and it has to be readable in small size as well.
  IMPORTANT: I've uploaded three skyline' photos, try your design on them before submitting (notice that the logo will have to fit on different surfaces, also busy backgrounds like the ones I've uploaded)

Schön zu haben

• I've fancied the idea of the logo featuring or incorporating the skyline
  

Sollte nicht haben

• The design can not show any arrogant snobbish attitude
