Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I started a business a year ago selling items related to 3d Printing. I purchased a very cheap logo and have been using that in the meantime. At this point I would like to upgrade to a better one and one that I hopefully can keep for good. My website is makea3dfactory.com

My business name is 3dfactory. The idea behind the name is that my products allow you to create a small scale factory from your home. Turning 3d models on your computer into physical objects you can hold in your hand.

My idea for the logo that I need incorporated is some sort of "3d Factory". Whether it be chimney stacks or whatever. I would like the logo to look like a 3d factory. Nothing crazy but just a visual representation of a 3d factory.

I will include a copy of my current logo. The idea behind it is good however it needs to be much higher quality. My vision of the logo is something you would mistake for an ios 6 iphone icon (not the ios 7 ones). My customer base is mostly college students and middle age engineers.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Must incorporate a 3d look and some sort of symbolic factory image. Also it must have neon green in it. That is the company's color.
  
  It must have a modern 3D look to it. Like apples icons (IOS 6). I wish for the icon to be eye candy. I really like the use of shading and gloss but they are not required if you can pull it off without them.

Schön zu haben

• I like the 3d cube look of my current design because it emphasizes the 3d aspect of my logo. I don't need a cube in the logo but just some sort of symbolic "3dness". The cube is good because its not a square. As long as you can demonstrate that it is 3D somehow.
  
  Also my current logo is too long horizontally. So it would be nice if somehow it could be more square somehow. Maybe by putting the "factory" text underneath instead of on the side.
