Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a Spanish Publishing Ministry that produces a variety of materials for Hispanic churches, Bible institutes and seminaries. Our materials include study books, reference books, Sunday School curriculum and other works. In addition to our publishing ministry we also do on-the-field training with classes, seminars and workshops. The majority of our customers are located in Latin America. In simple terms, we produce Spanish literature materials and teach people how to use them. EBI was established nearly 60 years ago.

Here's a "wish list" for our logo: EBI

Our full name is "Editorial Bautista Independiente" however we prefer to use the simple acronym "EBI" We do not want "script" text
-We would prefer that our logo be navy blue with a touch of an accent color (perhaps a bright lime green or something similar)
-We would prefer something that is simple, sophisticated, timeless yet creative.
-If an eye-catching "hidden" symbol can be used that would be great. Something that makes people look twice. (for example: a book, book pages, book spine, etc.) We want an abstract or minimalist look, not a drawing or "clip art" look. Probably not a literal book.
-We would probably prefer to avoid over-used religious symbolism.
-We would probably prefer to avoid globes.
-It will need to be versatile enough to be used at times in color or adapted to be only black and white at other times.
-Will be used in many applications including on building signage, letterhead, book covers, website, social media, etc.

The final design should communicate reliability, quality and confidence.
