This is for a video series profiling people across the state of Alabama reading the work of Walt Whitman, a 19th century American poet called Whitman, Alabama

• A clean uncluttered aesthetic
• Earth-tone or similar muted colors
• . Note: I am open to having this say "Welcome to: Whitman, Alabama, est. 2017

Schön zu haben

• sans serif font
• this should focus on sense of place.
• It should have energy and style -- this is a creative project not a corporate logo
• (if this is successful we'd like to see this be a T-shirt or even better a tattoo!)

Sollte nicht haben

• A cartoony look
• A formal old fashioned POETRY look of cursive script etc.
• an old homey backwoods southern feel
• loud bright colors
• It's an alabama wide project so we don't want a star or other icon in the middle of the state of alabama that would suggest a certain PLACE in Alabama.
