Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We require a logo for our new herbal product company "Hamsa Herbs". Our company produces socially ethical and environmentally sustainable herbal teas, essential oils, tinctures, herbal mixtures and cosmetics for the international herbal product market (in the first instance Europe).

The logo will be in the shape of a Hamsa (see attached). Since the Hamsa is a widely used symbol all over the world, we would like to have a logo that has both traditional and modern aspects, omitting the traditional ‘eye’ often depicted in the middle of the hand. The logo should stand out and contain herbal elements. This could be a wreath of different types of herbs (e.g. mugworth, st john's wort, sage, cornflower, mallow, saffron, chamomile, linden etc), or a depiction of one or more herbal flower in the palm of the hand (e.g. sunflower, mallow etc), or make it look like the herbs come out of the hand, they can be very prominent. We prefer a mix of geometry and floral/herbal elements, but we are also open for artistic creativity. It should not be tacky, too overcrowded and disconnected, the details should still be visible when the logo is small and engraved onto e.g. essential oil bottles.

The logo will require the text of "Hamsa Herbs" being a small descriptor that helps clarify the type of company. This should not be written inside the logo to allow for the option to exclude or modify the text when appropriate (e.g. to Hamsa Herbal Tea etc), but it can be attached to the logo. The font should match the style of the logo, preferably modern. We are open to colours but bear in mind that it should look good on bright backgrounds, and draw attention but not be "too shouty".

Attached are examples of a Hamsa logo serving as a loose style orientation. The second is a template you can use as a base.
