Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Will you create our Tailor?
What we need is a logo design (of the brand name) and illustration of the face of our company. His name is Tailor and we picture him as a modern tailor/dressmaker.
Tailor is a young men in the age of 24 to 38 years old, slim, sexy and fashionable. Perhaps even the future Jean Paul Gaultier. Draw him while working, for example with a tape measure around his neck, scissors at the ready, fabric on the table, etc. When you look at him at work, you'll be sure he will make your dress just perfect.
The tailor will be at his sewing table. We would like to use the surface of the table to write things on, such as date, time & location of an event. Details to be filled in later. We just need sufficient space for about three lines of text. If you think enough space on the table will not be possible for this, you may also think of other surfaces, such as a blackboard behind him.
Our concept involves organising events/workshops for modern women who want a unique piece of clothing for themselves or their children. They would like to make it themselves but either cannot sew or don't have the time for it. Our 'Tailor' selects the sewing patterns and the fabrics will be chosen and bought by the ladies/customers. Of course Tailor will also give tips about what is hot and what not and which fabrics should be the best for the pattern.
With regards to the combination of brand name/logo and illustration, please make sure the logo is not too busy. Just the brand name in a font that suits the illustration will do. Or simply one small tool embedded in it....Feel free but make sure it is not too busy and still fashionable and modern.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Dear competitors,
There have been some requests to extend the deadline which we would like to honour herewith.
We are of course very curious what you will show us.
Furthermore we would like to comment that we would like Tailor to be sexier and a more trendy person. An actual 'hunk'. We will add some pictures of men we think our target group will find handsome.
Some designs are a bit too 'cartoonesque'. We would like a more serious illustration of somebody whom you would actually like to meet in real life and who will make your perfect dress.
