ext year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love, when the American counter-culture became more of a lifestyle than a political choice, and the release of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band." Abbey Road on the River will feature performers popular in 1967, including Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits, producer-singer Peter Asher, The Grass Roots, The Family Stone, and Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Next year's festival will be May 25-29 and debut in its new home in Jeffersonville.

Abbey Road on the River averages 20,000 attendees and features around 60 performers, the majority of them Beatles tribute bands.
