Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Southern Shipwrights is a new Australian business that services, maintains and repairs high end cruising and racing boats. We need a logo to reflect our quality work.

The name Southern Shipwrights comes from our location as Australians compared to the rest of the world, and also our location within Australia based in Melbourne, Australia's south east. The reference to a compass bearing is relevant to the yachting and maritime community which regularly uses compass bearings for navigation and wind direction. This lends itself to the use of a compass for our logo, however we want a modern take on this timeless image.

Attached is our current logo however we feel it is time to modernise/professionalise our identity.

• - Logo element themed on a compass, stylised to look modern and simple
• - Stacked words 'Southern Shipwrights'
• - Logo element that is separate from the wording, and can be placed either beside or above wording
• - flat design, no shading or 3D elements
• - This logo will be displayed on both white and dark background, meaning a reversible design will be required
• - clean vector image that can be scaled to any size

Schön zu haben

• - 2-3 colours, preference (but not limited to) blues and greys.

Sollte nicht haben

• - no carbon fibre effects, no anchors
• - no nautical cliches
