Schulberg MediaWorks has been in the direct to consumer marketing business for over 25 years. We’re considered pioneers in the DRTV space (Direct Response TV advertising) having created some of the most successful infomercials of all time. As the media landscape has changed and as consumers shop for products on line, we’ve applied our marketing expertise and creative talents to exploit new windows of opportunity. We’ve used the abbreviation SMW with the exclamation mark for years. The name Schulberg MediaWorks! was intended to tell a brief story. We ( led by Jon Schulberg) create media that works!
We’re thinking that we should move away from our 3 letter name. We feel that we need to emphasize and sell that “Media" is our middle name and that we’re experts that know how to create compelling content that “works” in multiple media channels. Based on this, we’re developing a branding strategy based on the positioning that we’re experts in what we’re calling V-Commerce. We want to brand this term and communicate that we know how to leverage the “selling power of expertly crafted visuals ( video, still pictures and text) to trigger a purchase decision. Based on this framework, we want to re-position ourselves as V-Commerce Agency and overhaul our brand image and a new logo is essential. Please see attached 3 panel brochure to see how we’re beginning to communicate our talent, track record and services in a bold new way.
We’re open to all new ideas and visual interpretations, colors, etc. I like red, but that does not mean that I wedded to it.

- iconic clean look...can you all try to integrate an iconic image of a shopping cart...with the basket of the cart representing a TV screen or computer monitor...the shape could be similar to the red rounded edge rectangle seen in the You Tube logo...This screen could perhaps have the white triangle to suggest play or action.
