Poster-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a teaser poster for our upcoming feature film L.A. SLASHER.

L.A. Slasher is a Neon Horror Satire about a flamboyant masked stranger called the L.A. Slasher who hunts and abducts celebrities who have found fame through Reality TV. The Slasher uses social networking as a platform to create an audience for his timely social statement. As events unfold, the Slasher's newly found audience grows rapidly, appreciating the lessons the Slasher inflicts on a range of victims. Each victim represents an aspect of the culture that the Slasher and the public have grown to despise. Set to a pulsing electric score, the film has an identity as unique as the Slasher himself!


SYNOPSIS:
L.A. SLASHER is a satirical take on the horror genre set against the celebrity obsessed world of modern day Los Angeles. The Slasher hates what Hollywood has become, a place where fame trumps talent, and decides to take a stand. L.A. is plunged into a state of excited trepidation as the Slasher embarks on a trail of abduction and punishment, selecting each victim to support his social statement. Every step of his journey is broadcast online using the social media that created and maintains the fame of these ‘stars’ against them. Instead of being outraged, the public supports the Slasher, empathizing with his cause. Audiences find themselves on the same journey as the flamboyant Slasher as he guides us on this humorous tale of terror.


We would like a poster that reflects the style and colors of the movie. This is not a typical horror movie, it is colourful, neon and fun. Color palette is pinks and yellows- neon.

We have included a picture of a title that we had done, which is nice, but not quite right.

We would like to have an image of Brooke Hogans face, with the words....DEATH TO REALITY TV

Then below L.A. SLASHER coming soon.
It needs to be super modern and super dynamic!!!

We have included a mock up rough idea (pink background) but obviously the text L.A. SLASHER is just in a simple font on this, it needs to be something more stylized.
Feel free to stick to the outline or if you feel inspired run free!
we have also included some posters we like.

Zielmarkt/( -märkte)

Target market is 17-30 year olds... women seem to like and get the references more, so if it was geared slightly toward women that would be helpful. Target market will have a love hate relationship with celebrity culture and reality tv. There's alot of cattiness and snark in the film.

Schön zu haben

• Color palette of pinks, yellows. The opening track of the song is Blondie's "Heart of Glass" -- it's got kind of an 80's glam feel to the movie. The movie has some dark elements, but it is also very funny.
