ABOUT US:

We are a B2B online marketplace connecting Fashion brands with ethical, sustainable and transparent suppliers and manufacturers.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND:

Fashion is one of the largest and resource demanding industries in the world. It’s the 2nd most polluting industry after oil and gas and has one of the worst records of ethics throughout the supply chain.
Our online platform will help to change exactly that: we enable the new generation of fashion designers and consumers to produce and buy more sustainable and ethical products.
We connect fashion businesses with the right factories through a b2b online community marketplace.

THE TASK:

Please develop our logo! The company name is ETHAGORA. This derived from the word ‘ethical’ and ‘agora’ (agora meaning ‘marketplace’ in Greek). Above is a quick logo we created our selves – we quite liked the name in brackets, but we want to see more ideas too. The brackets give a ‘marketplace/community’ feel. Also they give the logo something modern. We quite liked the yellow colour. It has an earthy/ethical feel to it. We also played with the idea of having some of the name in small letters, some in capitals: [ethAGORA]. But please feel free develop something entirely new! Please have a look at our landing page attached (disregard the logo).


WHAT WE NEED OUR LOGO TO BE:

1. very modern/ crisp/ fresh/clean
2. it has to put across an emotion of what our business is about (ethical/sustainable/products/manufacturers/marketplace/matchmaking/ community)
it should also include a symbol which will stick to people’s mind the first time they set eyes on it and which can be used on it’s own or in combination with the logo. We’re talking about something along the lines of ‘Sqetch’ (https://sqetch.co/) or Or ‘Positive Luxury’ (https://www.positiveluxury.com/) both examples attached as pictures.

This is a really exciting project! Our platform will go live very soon so this is an amazing opportunity to build your work!

• modern/ crisp/ fresh/ clean design.
• We would like to see some options in black and also some in colour.

• Not times new roman font styles and old style.
