Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We're a Dallas-based IT company (Managed Services Provider,) which means we fully manage business networks (servers, workstations, firewalls, etc.) The name Blackland is from the blackland prairie, which is a large swath of land (see below) in mostly Northeast Texas which has very dark, nearly black clay.

We would like a logo that's black and white, simple and memorable. It doesn't have to have an actual prairie or land in the logo design but it wouldn't hurt. We mainly picked this name because it evokes an down to earth, stable, and strong feeling; something that's here to last that will take care of you for a long time. A logo that's not so techy or trendy that it feels like every other tech company with circuits or orbits. Also, avoid having the texas map in the logo. It should feel more or less global. Just to be clear, there are no mountains in the blackland prairie but a landscape may work.
