CD-Cover-Design Kurzbeschreibung

My band is "The Dugga Boys".

We are based in the state of Nevada, in the Western U.S.A.

Our genre is "Roots Rock", blending folk, country, and rock musical styles. The music is all original.

A "dugga boy" is an old, mature Cape Buffalo bull, that is found in many African countries. They are mean, tough, and nasty. The word "dugga" or "dagga" means "mud" and is a term used by African natives to describe the mud that they use to build their huts. The buffalo get this mud on their skin, and thus developed the reference as "dugga boys" by hunters and natives.

See attached Word document for a conceptual workup of what I'm looking for. Notice the color schemes and how they tie in with the painting of the buffalo. I can't and don't want to use this painting excerpt as it is not mine, but I have used it here to convey a concept.

In fact, I don't want a design that is an exact direct translation of what I have conveyed, especially for the representation of the cape buffalo bulls. Here are the simple design parameters:

1) Use the font and color schemes as in the Word doc, but also experiment with some other similar schemes

2) The bulls should be abbreviated in their form and structure. The bulls could be represented in a mild cartoon form or even with just head and horns. There MUST BE 2 bulls.

3) The landscape background should be abbreviated as well to match the design outcome in 2) above.

4) Simple is better than complex. I would also like to extract a logo from this project at some later time, so keep that in mind.
