Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Logo needed for new retail store specialising in new vinyl records and books. Tangent Physical Media is a shop focusing on tangible formats such as vinyl and books in an otherwise digital age. We are targeting a young, cool, hip crowd. An idea I have for the logo is a diagram of a tangent, ie a line touching a circle, but where the circle represents a vinyl record. I think this could also be made to look like a record (circle) being removed from a sleeve (represented by the line) (The line could form part of the T? You're the creatives though, you do your thing!)

Core market is young, hip, cool. That said, I do not want to exclude an older market.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Full business name is Tangent Physical Media, but this will be shortened to just "Tangent" in day to day use. So maybe have "Tangent" in larger text and "physical media" as smaller text, so it appears more as a tagline.

Schön zu haben

• Would like to be able to use the logo or part of it as a text-free "abstract" logo. I would like the logo to imply that we are involved with vinyl records. I would rather this be stylistic than realistic. If you can imply books as well, that would be cool, but not if it impacts on the style or simplicity of the logo.

Sollte nicht haben

• I am not interested in using "TPM" as an abbreviated business name so please don't design a logo based around this.
