Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a large, London based manufacturer and installer of natural stone that has been established for 20 years. We have had the same logo for the duration and whilst we have grown very attached to its design, we have recently updated our Mega Glass (sister company's) logo to be more contemporary and reflective of our position in the market today. As the tie between the two companies becomes much stronger, we have decided that it is time to update the Mega Marble  (MM)  logo 
 
We are very well known in the premium end construction industry continually working on a number of the top projects in London (hotels, developments, office buildings etc) , our website www.megamarble.co.uk illustrates the nature of our work.

• Needs to work when alone on a page but just as importantly needs to work in combination with the Mega Glass (MG) logo on work wear, van livery, business cards  etc.
• Should communicate that we are a premium natural-stone processor working on high- end premium (5* London Hotels, apartments with values of £2-£20 million luxury projects etc)  
• Must reassure clients of our established place, wealth of experience and positon in the London market – we have been in existence for 20 years
• That we deliver the architects design ideas of textured, beautiful, booked matched stone finishes in bathroom, reception areas, wine-bars, restaurants by using state-of-the-art robotic machinery with hand finished masonry and installation  
 
I have listed below some notes about Mega Marble that may help during the design process
• Contemporary
• MM is the lead brand in our portfolio of MM and MG
• MM is a brand that manufactures and installs natural stone of all sorts) marble, limestone, granite, onyx – these are natural, come out of the ground, are full of texture, every piece is unique, available in a huge array of colours (although most of what is sold is browns, creams, white, greys, greens and blacks)
• The new logo needs to work alongside the MG logo which cannot be changed
• We are most comfortable with a logo that retains a link to the established one however are also open to change and willing to look at entirely new concepts
• As a brand we are known for:
• being technically strong, having a can do/break the mould approach
• investing in state of the art robotic machinery
• Delivering what we contract to deliver
• We are a Family owned and led company but also employ a team of 100 committed, dynamic staff

p.s. it is no coincidence that the triangles in the MG logos create the letter M
