Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Small start-up investment firm named "Relay Hill Capital" looking for a simple, professional logo. Some thoughts to consider:

-Background on "Relay" ... the life of a business is like a relay running race; different people take leadership of the company and helps it evolve; our firm wants to buy small companies and help them grow
-Background on "Hill" ... running uphill or transitioning leadership of a company is very difficult
-The logo must be typical of an investment firm (professional, clean, simple, not too many colors and avoid bright colors, etc)
-The entire logo should include some designed image with the firm name incorporated above, below or to the sides; also, I want a unique image I can use without any text for select situations
-(NOT required) I thought about a logo incorporating two runners exchanging a baton but was unable to envision it being "professional" - you are welcomed to try but this is likely difficult
