Grafik-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I wish to have a graphic designed that will show well on an asymmetric spinnaker (downwind headsail for our new Oceanis 45 Sailboat).Our boat will be named Fidèles, French for faithful. We have a design concept based upon a tattoo that my wife has and is attached. The tattoo is a combination of zodiac signs, Ram, Scales, and Bow/Arrow. These are the zodiac signs of our family members and crew. I'm open to interpretations or modification of the design to make it look great at scale. In fact I expect changes.

Five files are attached. 1) photo of the tattoo 2) .bmp of the spinnaker which includes a color pallette. 3) Wolf example to help imagine the final result 4) morris42 showing star examples, and 5) pdf with sailmaker attempt at our project.

We prefer spinnaker base material to be a solid color - it must be either LT. Blue, Ocean Blue, white, or Grey. Lt Blue is our STRONG preference.

The sailmaker uses an inlay process (sewn in from laser cut material not printed graphic), so the graphic must be a different color than base sail color.

As you will see we experimented with coloring the graphic in sections, Black ram, Yellow scales, Red arrow.

The sail area is over 1600 sq ft. So imagine this graphic being seen from 1-2 miles away. :)

The deliverable must be at least two files. One file with the graphic independent of the sail, and another showing the graphic options on the sail.

These directions come from the sailmaker to assist in color selection.

COLORING INSTRUCTIONS;
1. Double click on this file or save to your hard drive and then open it from Paint or PaintBrush (or similar bmp art program)
2. Once it has opened, select colours by using the Color Dropper tool and selecting the color from the colour squares below the spinnaker drawing.
3. Next use the Paint Bucket tool to 'pour' colours into each panel.
4. Note: We must have an even number of colored panels, although symmetry is not important.
5. Once the file is complete youcan save it your disk.
6. The file can be emailed within Paintbrush by going to FILE and SEND. This should activate your email program and attach the file to the message.
7. Our color diagrams are quite accurate representations of the finished product,
