Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new banquet- hotel company based in Buffalo, NY. We are renovating a building that was originally built in 1900 as the Taylor Signal Company"
The purpose for which the Taylor Signal company was formed in 1900 was the manufacture of an electric interlocking device which was designed to do away with the danger of collision where two railroad tracks cross at grade,". At the time, passenger trains were required to come to a complete stop when reaching an rail crossing unequipped with a safety device. As a result of this inconvenience, trains were often delayed in meeting their schedules. The device which the new company would manufacture alleviated this problem.
The building has been used over the decades as a manufacturing plant for a number of companies. The original structure made of brick, wood and steel beams hasn't been altered much and is now being renovated into a multi purpose building housing offices, apartments, a banquet facility and a 21 room boutique hotel. The name of the building will be @ the foundry. We are looking for a logo for the banquet facility which incorporates "events @ the foundry". We are an upscale caterer which will be be reaching out to both an upscale and "blue collar" client. Open to all ideas- prefer a more "elegant look"
