Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I need a logo design for a land surveying company. My target market is government agencies (local, state and federal). Secondary market is architectural and civil engineering firms. I do not work very often with the general public. When I do it is from a recommendation from an existing client. When potential clients view my logo, I want them to get a sense of professionalism and stability.
I would like the design to stay away from the standard compass or tripod that so many other surveying companies use. I like the color of the "blue goose" on US Fish and Wildlife Service signs and am pretty open to a palette that works with that as long and it can be used as black and white also.
I really like the logo at http://www.bmls-inc.com/ because it is smart and unique... it's smart because it represents the breakdown of a section within a township from a surveyor's point of view. I like the logo at http://www.fisherarnold.com/ because it is clean and simple. The logo at http://www.associatedengineering.com/ is also good because it is clean and creative.
I'm not interested in something trendy but something that is classic in form that will last years with very little updating. I want it to present a strong impression.
