Icon-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a new icon for a smartphone app that lets users discover and listen to free audio books. The icon will also be used on the website (http://librivox.bookdesign.biz). It should follow the iOS7 / Android 4 design principles (flat, line oriented, etc,) and preferably bear some relation to the current icon. You can find the apps from a link on the left hand side of the website.
We have a free and paid version of the app, for which we currently use the same icon with a different colored background (attached). We would want to be able to make a similar distinction with the new icon.
Of course, the design should be attention-grabbing, coherent, and legible on a small screen.
The final product should be submitted as a vector or bitmapped design (if bitmapped, it should be at least 1024x1024). It is best if layers are preserved.
