Using the “Pay it forward” philosophy, which promotes doing an act of kindness or charity for another individual and that individual then “repays” that act of kindness by doing and act of kindness for someone else. This process hopefully repeats indefinitely. PintItForward takes advantage of the concept by allowing an individual to purchase a pint (i.e. beverage) from a registered establishment for an individual. This individual would receive the information that they need to redeem or collect on the PintItForward (PIF) and would hopefully keep the chain going by purchasing a PIF for another individual.
PintItForward wants to provide a fun, attractive, trendy method for individuals to purchase beverages for friends, family and business contacts while promoting the establishments. This will create chains of PIF purchases and will provide additional marketing and revenue for these establishments as well as PintItForward. Once PintItForward is integrated into social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) it will quickly become a trend and spread across the industry. The PintItForward brand can easily be applied to merchandising (i.e. T-Shirts, koozies, bumper stickers, etc.). The concept is also scalable across the industry and into other industries as well.
PintItForward at the onset will market to the craft beer industry which is made up of over 2,800 breweries and brew pubs across the nation. The unique atmospheres and clientele that makes up this industry are ideal customers for PintItForward. They are typically highly educated professionals, up with the current trends, social media users and generous. This service will provide registered establishments with an inexpensive way to advertise their products and location while also bringing in new customers and creating repeat business. As PintItForward grows, being a member and joining the community will be essential and almost a requirement. We will market, not only to many breweries, gastropubs, wineries, cideries, and other bars, but to the patrons within through social media.
The main winner of this concept are the establishments that will ultimately be redeeming the PIFs, which will result in increased revenue, visibility and nearly free advertisement through several channels including social media. This is a win/win concept for these businesses.
