Hello,
Your project sounds interesting. Can you submit an image of the cover of volume 1? This is to be able to check out what the fonts and the style of the cover is.
Thanks

To the Author of the book or the brief.
This book is an interesting concept for the designers and artists on DesignCrowd. However, apart from the limited brief you have supplied, there are a lot of questions you could answer which will guarantee you receive a lot more submissions,
for example...
1: Create a book cover design.....
OK, what size is the cover, is it for print or for an e-book (for Amazon, Kindle etc.)
If it's for print, what size is the cover, 5x8, 6x9 etc. do you want a wraparound cover, and if so, what size is the spine. (or the number of pages so we can work out the size of the spine ourselves).

2: Keeping the cover of Volume 1 in mind:
- same fonts.....
- probably same fire and background colours
- instead of the chest of a fighter, we will see now the back of an angel.
Great, so where is the cover? How can we tell what fonts you have if you have not supplied reference material. `What fire and background colours?
The more astute of the DesignCrowd artists will have googled "Ghost for Life" and come up with a blank.
I, and most of the artists and designers have seen the file you uploaded, but there are no fonts or fire etc. on that image. so we are back to square one,

I am sure you are aware that designers have been asking questions about your brief for the last 10 days without any reply or comment from yourself.
Do yourself a favour and send a reply answering these questions.
If you can't be bothered then why should we!

We could all do pix of Angels with a fire background, but why waste our time if we don't have any definition of the theme or details that you want. There are a lot of professionals on this site and If we have a clearer brief, then you are going to get designs that you would consider close to what you would want, and you would certainly get a lot more submissions to choose from, and find the one you want for YOUR book cover.
Time is running out!

Stefan.
The reason I commented on your brief etc. was that I was preparing artwork for your cover and like the other designers that wrote comments, wanted a bit more information.
Apologies if I sounded a bit curt, but when I wrote the comment, the information from DesignCrowd indicated that the contest had another 3 days to run. Hence the questions.
I now see that you have already chosen the winner for your cover, so it has all been a bit of a waste of time for me, and all it comes down to is a bit of communication. Perhaps DesignCrowd are at fault here for keeping the contest active after the winner had been chosen or maybe your lack of comments on the questions page. It would have been easy to perhaps write 'Design selected' on the page and save all who were participating any further effort.
Anyway, we all have something to take away from this.

I don't want you to think I am singling you out here, as many briefs are a lot worse than yours. Perhaps I am just venting, as I didn't get a chance to participate in what is great subject matter for an artist.
I'm glad you have the cover you want and wish you well with your project.
Regards
Martin
