Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hi all,

For my company Amsterdam Jachtbouw (formerly "Amsterdam Zuid Jachtbouw") I am looking for a new logo. I would prefer a logo with a modern, or even a sturdy feel to it, so not to classical. I am open to everything as long as it is distinctive. Absolutely not an requirement but maybe the 'Andreas kruis' (logo Amsterdam) or something nautical can be incorporated to the logo. Attached is my current logo. I like the light colour of blue but also this fully optional. Once again, this is absolutely no requirement but just an idea. Another thing I am still struggling with is a slogan. I might use one in the future and when I will it would be nice to have the option to incorporate that in the logo design. Words I might use are: Duurzaamheid (durability), functionaliteit (functionality) and design (beauty).

Amsterdam Jachtbouw is a naval company especialized in converting used enclosed lifeboats to luxury, high end boats used for leisure purposes. We strive to build these used hulls to the highest quality standards in a social and environmentally friendly way. We use only the best of materials and therefore we serve a niche market for people who are willing to pay for extra delivered quality. Furthermore we do all kinds of refits to boats and we aim to be the biggest company in Amsterdam within 5 years with respect to converting boats with diesel enginges to electric motors (together with Green Marine Motors). Of course we are doing all kinds of other maintainances as well.
